FAQ

What should I do if I cannot import from Photos or save media?

Open iOS Settings, find SaveBox, and confirm that Photos access or add-only permission is enabled. If permission is disabled, importing images, importing videos, or saving to Photos may not be available.

What should I do if Face ID or Touch ID cannot unlock private space?

Make sure Face ID or Touch ID is set up on the device and enabled in SaveBox. If biometric verification fails, you can use your numeric passcode to enter private space.

What if I forget the private space numeric passcode?

To protect private space content, SaveBox does not request or store your numeric passcode by email. First check whether you can still unlock with Face ID or Touch ID. If a future version provides reset options, they may require clearing protected access state or accepting the risk that data cannot be recovered.

What should I do if webpages fail to open, snapshots fail, or pages render incorrectly?

Check your network connection, try refreshing the page, switch search engines, or clear browser data. Some websites restrict embedded browsers, login state, regional access, script execution, or rendering behavior, so SaveBox cannot guarantee that every third-party webpage will open normally or generate a snapshot.

What should I do if a file cannot be previewed, shared, or exported?

Make sure the file still exists locally, the format is supported by iOS, and Photos or Files permission is available. Some file formats may only be opened through the system share sheet or another app.

How do I use WiFi Transfer?

Connect the iPhone and computer to the same WiFi. In SaveBox, open Transfers, choose WiFi Transfer, and start the service. On the device you want to connect, enter the displayed address; if it has a camera, you may scan the QR code instead, then enter the pairing code. During that session, a paired device can browse files and folders, send files to or receive files from the iPhone, create folders, or delete standard-space files; Private Space is not shown. Keep SaveBox in the foreground and use the feature only on networks and devices you trust.

What if WiFi Transfer cannot connect or is interrupted?

Confirm that both devices use the same WiFi, Local Network access is allowed for SaveBox in iOS Settings, the service is still running, and the pairing code is current. The transfer may stop or fail if the app enters the background, the network changes, the service stops, or storage is unavailable. This feature uses a local HTTP connection and should not be used as an end-to-end encrypted transfer method.

How do I clear browser history, Cookies, and cache?

Open SaveBox Settings, choose Clear Browser Data, and select history, bookmarks, frequently used sites, Cookies, or cache as needed.

How do I manage or cancel a SaveBox Pro subscription?

Use Apple Account subscription settings in iOS Settings, or open the account page in the App Store to review subscriptions. Existing customers can also use Restore Purchases in SaveBox Settings. Subscription cancellation, refunds, and payment issues are usually handled by Apple under Apple's rules.

What is sent when I use web summary or online feedback?

Web summary sends the current page content to SaveBox services only when you actively start it. Online feedback submits the details you enter, optional contact information, and diagnostic information such as device model, system version, app version, language, and Pro status. Do not submit passcodes, payment information, or unnecessary sensitive content.

How should I back up important files?

SaveBox primarily uses local device storage. Use system sharing, export, save-to-Photos, or a backup method you trust to regularly back up important files.
