SaveBox Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service before using SaveBox. By installing, accessing, or using SaveBox, you understand and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.
1. Service Description
SaveBox provides local file management, folder organization, media import and saving, image and video preview, system sharing and export, web browsing, bookmarks and history, web snapshots, web summary, browser data management, WiFi file transfer on a local network, private space, SaveBox Pro subscriptions, numeric passcode, and Face ID or Touch ID unlock features. Features may vary by app version, device model, iOS version, system permission status, network status, remote configuration, and subscription status.
2. Eligibility And Accounts
SaveBox currently does not require account registration. You are responsible for ensuring that you may use the app in your region and for complying with applicable laws, App Store rules, third-party website terms, and these terms.
3. User Content And Local Data Responsibility
You are responsible for files, images, videos, web content, and other materials that you import, save, preview, browse, turn into web snapshots, transfer, move, rename, delete, share, export, or place in private space through SaveBox. You must have the necessary rights or authorization and must not use SaveBox to store, distribute, or process illegal, infringing, malicious, harmful, or third-party-rights-violating content.
SaveBox primarily handles local data. You are responsible for backing up important files. We are not responsible for recovery if data is lost because of mistaken deletion, device damage, system failure, app removal, permission changes, forgotten passcode, or other causes.
4. Private Space And Passcodes
Private space adds an in-app access gate for selected content. You should keep your numeric passcode safe and understand that Face ID or Touch ID verification is provided by iOS. Private space is not guaranteed to protect against jailbroken devices, system vulnerabilities, malware, physical forensics, backup exposure, or another person knowing your device lock screen passcode.
5. Web Browsing And Third-Party Services
SaveBox's browser lets you access third-party webpages, search engines, and online services. Third-party content and services are not controlled by us, and we do not promise their accuracy, availability, security, privacy practices, webpage content, or transactions. When you visit third-party websites, you should review and follow their terms and privacy policies.
When you actively use web summary, online feedback, announcements, remote configuration, or other online features, related requests may be processed by the SaveBox backend, Cloudflare infrastructure, AI service providers, or other service providers. You should avoid submitting content you are not authorized to process or unnecessary sensitive content.
5.1 Local Network And WiFi Transfer
When you expressly start WiFi Transfer and grant the required Local Network permission, SaveBox starts a local service on your device's WiFi or local network and displays a local address, QR code, and a pairing code for that service session. A device on the same network that enters the pairing code can browse files and folders, send or receive files, create folders, or delete standard-space files; Private Space is not available through this service.
Use this feature only on networks and devices you trust, and protect the address, QR code, and pairing code. The service uses a local HTTP connection and should not be treated as an end-to-end encrypted or absolutely secure transfer method. File operations may fail or be interrupted when the service is stopped, the app enters the background, or network or permission status changes. You are responsible for confirming the receiving device, file content, and target folder and for backing up important data.
6. Subscriptions, Purchases, And SaveBox Pro
SaveBox Pro may provide premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions. Subscription plans, prices, trials, renewal periods, and available entitlements are shown on the purchase screen, App Store, or Apple subscription settings. Unless you cancel in Apple subscription settings, auto-renewable subscriptions renew under Apple's rules.
Purchases, purchase restoration, billing, refunds, and cancellation are usually handled by Apple. RevenueCat is used to show subscription plans, synchronize purchase status, and determine Pro entitlements. You can try to restore purchases in SaveBox Settings and manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings or App Store subscription settings.
SaveBox Pro is not a cloud account or cloud backup. Even if you subscribe to Pro, local files, private space content, and browser data remain primarily on your device unless you actively use system sharing, online services, or third-party websites.
7. System Permissions
SaveBox may request system permissions such as Photos access, Photos add-only access, Local Network, Face ID, or Touch ID when needed for features. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings. Denying or disabling some permissions may make related features unavailable or limited.
8. Prohibited Conduct
When using SaveBox, you must not:
- Violate applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, or third-party rights.
- Store, distribute, or process infringing content, malware, scams, hate, harassment, unauthorized private information, or other illegal or harmful content.
- Use the app to attack, interfere with, bypass, or damage devices, networks, third-party websites, App Store, or other services.
- Reverse engineer, tamper with, resell, rent, sublicense, or distribute the app in an unauthorized way.
- Circumvent system permissions, App Store rules, content restrictions, or security mechanisms.
9. Intellectual Property
SaveBox's app name, interface design, code, graphics, text, and other content we provide are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as allowed by law or authorized by us in writing, you may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from them. You keep the rights to your lawful content.
10. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaveBox is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will always be error-free, uninterrupted, fully secure, meet all of your needs, or be compatible with every webpage, file format, device state, system version, online service, third-party SDK, subscription service, or AI output.
WiFi Transfer depends on your device, router or local network, browser, available storage, system permissions, and foreground app state. We do not guarantee that every transfer will complete, remain uninterrupted, meet your particular security needs, or be compatible with every device, network, and file format.
11. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use SaveBox, including data loss, lost profits, business interruption, third-party claims, device failure, or content risks.
12. Changes, Suspension, And Termination
We may update, modify, suspend, or stop parts of SaveBox for product maintenance, compliance, security, or business reasons. We may also update these terms. Updated terms will be posted on this page and will be effective as of the date shown. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
13. App Store And Third-Party Terms
If you get SaveBox through the App Store, Apple's App Store, Apple Media Services, StoreKit, subscription, and refund rules may also apply. RevenueCat, Cloudflare, UMeng, Microsoft Clarity, AI service providers, email services, and third-party websites you visit may also have their own terms and privacy policies.
14. Privacy
Please see the SaveBox Privacy Policy for how we handle your information. The Privacy Policy is an important part of these terms.
